Shooting the .45 Colt, .44 Magnum and .480 Ruger revolvers

I have a few people who ask me about how much power each of these handguns deliver.  Just for fun I shot this video of me shooting all three.  Technically speaking they should all have similar recoil, however the .45 colt I am only shooting cowboy loads.  It can be loaded to similar power as the other two.  But it sure is a nice shooting gun compared to the other two.

Floating the Teton River

Last month in September me, Katy and Quinn floated the Teton River in our raft.  We took our fishing poles but I was not able to fish much as I had to continuously row.  Quinn got to fish the most and was trying out a spinner but he lost it in the brush about halfway down.  We had an enjoyable time.  We ate lunch on a small island.  We saw a few moose and it seemed like the other people were catching lots of fish except us.
