April 8- April 12
We went to the annual Vision Source Conference which was held in Boston this year. In past years it has been held in Denver, Houston, Orlando, Las Vegas and Boston since we have been members. We took a few hours and went on a Duck Tour which is a vehicle that can be used on land and then driven into water and can propel through the water like a boat. It was a very interesting tour. I have a lot of pictures from that and will post them at another time. We saw the Cheers bar as well and ate dinner there. There are actually two. One, which is shown in the second picture, is the actual front shown in the series, but the inside is way different. The other, the outside looks different but the inside is an exact replica of the bar. The second is the one we ate dinner at which is where the picture of the cast and the menu are. We saw the old North Church where Paul Revere hung the lanterns and we also saw his house. Boston has tons of history and its too bad we didn't have a lot of time to look around. I was surprised that the air smelled clean and it wasn't very humid. Traffic was insane and I'm glad we didn't drive there.
